Tracking with Your Own Domain
Starting with the Personal plan, you can use your own domain for the short URLs — e.g. qr.yourcompany.com instead of qr9.ch. All tracking data is of course also collected for QR codes with a custom domain. The Business plan includes unlimited domains.

What tracking data does qr9 collect?
qr9 collects the number of scans, timestamp, approximate location (city and country), device type (smartphone, tablet), operating system, and browser. All data is collected anonymously.
Is QR code tracking GDPR-compliant?
Yes, qr9 does not store any personal data from scanners. The IP address is only used for location detection and is not stored. All data is hosted in Switzerland.
Does tracking work with all QR code types?
Tracking is available for dynamic QR codes. Static QR codes (vCard, WiFi, text) contain the data directly and cannot be tracked, as no server is contacted.
Can I export the tracking data?
Yes, you can export your scan data as CSV and process it further in your own tools or spreadsheets.
Do I see scans in real time?
Yes, new scans appear instantly in the dashboard. You can filter scans by time period and track the trend over days, weeks, or months.
Does QR code tracking cost anything?
No, tracking is already included in the free plan. You can create up to 3 dynamic QR codes with full tracking for free. For more QR codes or custom domains, the Personal and Business plans are available.
